A while back, I wrote my first app which was a fairly simple price comparing/trading tool for Magic: the Gathering cards. It was met with a lot of really positive feedback, but I realized pretty quickly that only having the app available on the App Store pretty heavily limited my userbase. I assume it's too late to port it to a new platform without rebuilding the entire thing in a new language, but how do you approach building apps that you intend to be cross-platform? Is this a choice that must be made very early on in the project or is porting an app a surmountable task?
